Quilts

I have been quilting for 30 years. Working with fabric I find to be relaxing and energizing. I have given away many and have done a few commissions.
I find the ones called ‘Stack & Whack’ especially fun! Examples of these are the SUNFLOWERS, DRAGONFLY KALEIDOSCOPE and the BROWN PAISLEY. In order to create this effect; you cut 8 layers of the fabric so that you have 8 identical triangles. You then sew them together to make a pinwheel. Each pinwheel turns out different. The border in each of the works, shows the original pattern of the fabric that was used.
